MAGNA CLEANSE
What is a Magna Cleanse.
Magna Cleanse flushing removes sludge and contaminants from a central heating system in a similar way to Power Flushing. Unlike using a Power Flushing machine, the cleansing chemicals are circulated using the systems central heating pump. Powerful industrial magnets are used to capture iron oxide, "sludge," which is then removed for safe disposal. At the end of the cleansing process, when the system is re filled, chemical inhibitor chemicals are added to the system to provide long term protection from future corrossion and avoid regeneration of iron oxide. The whole process is simpler and takes less time than Power Flushing. This is why a Magna Cleanse procedure is cheaper than a Power Flush. We find that Magna Cleansing achieves excellent results, that we rarely have to Power Flush these days. To Magna Cleanse there needs to be a suitable existing filter fitted to a system for us to hook our Magna Cleanse filter onto.
How much does a Magna Cleanse treatment cost?
SYSTEM SIZE RATE
Up to 10 radiators. £350 inc.
For systems larger than 11 radiators we only Power Flush. In our system size calculations we regard hot water cylinders and towel rails as if they were radiators.
Quality Chemicals.
Our policy is only to use cleanser and inhibitor chemicals produced by reputable manufacturers, such as Adey, Fernox etc, as recommended by all major boiler manufacturers.
