                                               WATER QUALITY TESTING.

It is now mandantory, as part of a boiler service to test the water quality within the central heating system for adequate inhibitor protection levels.. Should your boiler require a manufacturers warranty repair, a manufacturer can invalidate a boilers warranty if they determine that the system water has insufficent inhibitor protection levels, as research has shown that 80% off breakdowns can be attributed to insufficient inhibitor levels. It is also recommended that inhibitor chemicals should be topped up every 5 years to ensure the inhibitor protection has not deteriorated. In conjunction with your Boiler Service you can request an inhibitor top up for an additional fee of £35 inc. This price is only available when carried out in conjunction with an annual boiler service.

                         SATURDAY SERVICE RATES

           For many years, we used to offer Appliance Servicing on Saturday's. This was very

           popular, especially for Customers who found it difficult to be at home during normal

           working hours. With that in mind, we can once again offer to service Gas Appliances

           on Saturday's. However every appliance to be serviced will attract a £10 additional

           charge. Our multi applianceService Discount policy will remain in effect. Saturday 

           Servicing appointments must be pre booked during the normal working week.

      MULTI APPLIANCE SERVICE DISCOUNTS

When any Customer has more than one appliance serviced at the same appointment there will be a £5 discount off of every appliance serviced. For example a Customer has a gas boiler and a gas fire serviced this would incur a charge for £120 inc.

BOILER SERVICING.

The boiler on the left was 5 years old. Never been serviced, and unfortunately needed replacing. This could have been avoidable had it been serviced every year. It did have a 7 year manufacturers warranty when it was installed, but this was null and void as its annual servicing had not been adhered to.

FILTER SERVICING.

We are happy to service system filters during a boiler service visit. As filters age their seals and O rings can deterioate, and cause them to leak after cleaning. Should this occur, repairing this will be chargeable on a parts and labour basis, and is not included in the boiler service.
