CHEMICAL FLUSH.
If your radiators arent heating up the way they used to, this may be due to the formation of magnetite, "sludge" in your central heating system. If you catch it early, it may be possible to avoid the expense of a Power Flush or Magna Cleanse. You could perform a Chemical Flush, which is far cheaper, and often achieves satisfactory results.
HOW IT WORKS.
Like a Power Flush, a Chemical Flush uses the same quality chemicals to clean/loosen up the magnetite/sludge in a central heating system. The cleanser chemicals are fed into the central heating system. After this it is advisable to run your central system as much as you can, normally for a period of about a week. After this period, the system is then thouroughly drained to remove the loosened magnetite/sludge. During the process of re filling the drained central heating system, a quality inhibitor chemical is added to the system, to reduce the formation of future magnetite/sludge forming again.
Please Note. We only offer a Chemical Flush procedure to systems of up to 10 radiators. We calculate towel rails and hot water cylinders as if the where radiators in our calculations. This procedure is not available for drop pipe or microbore systems.
HOW MUCH DOES A CHEMICAL FLUSH COST.
We charge a fixed fee of only £215. inc, for a Chemical Flush treatment. Remember, this procedure normally requires two visits, which are normally around a week apart.
ADD A BOILER SERVICE.
We can offer to add a Boiler Service at the end of a chemical flush for the discounted price of only £35 inc. Please note, this is conditional on the Boiler Service being pre booked and carried out at the same time as the system refill/inhibitor treatment.
