COOKERS & HOBS ETC

COOKER/HOB INSTALLATION

 

Where there is a hob or a cooker to be installed, providing there is a live gas pipe available in the area, we normally charge £90.00 inc to install a cooker or a hob. The cost includes materials such as cooker hose, stability chain,  bayonet & backplate elbow. It also includes up to a maximum of 450mm of 15mm copper pipe, if required, and be accessable and above floor level. There has been cases were, on arrival the Customer requests that the cooker location is to be altered to another area of the kitchen. This will not be carried out at the price stated above. We cannot fit electrical spurs or sockets for any appliance. Should we be unable to install your cooking appliance at the stated cost, we will quote for the work requested, with no obligation to accept.

 

APPLIANCE DISCONNECTION CHARGE

 

We are often asked to disconnect a gas appliance or radiator. We will safely disconnect the gas appliiance or radiator and cap off the old gas or water pipes. We cannot remove the old appliance for disposal. The standard charge for Disconnection is £60.00 inc. Where an alternative price is offered for technical reasons, the quotation will be free of charge with no obligation to accept.

Sorry, but we do not cover Glasgow City Centre. (nothing to do with ULEZ regulations, just the parking nightmare)

Sat - Sun  Closed

 

APPOINTMENTS.

Customers can request either an arrival time between 9am - 1pm or 12pm - 5pm and we will do our best to comply.

 

Outside of normal opening hours, weekends etc, we will are often available to answer the phone, but a message left will be answered as soon as possible.

 

PAYMENT.

Unless there is a prior arrangement, all work must be paid for on completion of work to the Engineer on site. We are happy to accept most credit and debit cards, or cash.
