SERVICING
OUR SERVICE RATES.
Our Service rates for boilers and fires etc, are shown below.
There are no hidden fees or callout charges.
GAS APPLIANCE TYPE RATE
BOILER £60 inc.
FIRE (see bottom of page) £60 inc.
Combined Fire & Back boiler Unit £95 inc.
MULTI APPLIANCE SERVICE DISCOUNTS.
We offer a £5 discount off of every appliance serviced when more than one appliance is serviced at the same visit.
(Example: Customer has a Combi boiler & a gas fire serviced at the same appointment, would cost £110 inc)
Remember if your gas boiler has a manufacturers warranty, failure to service it every 12 months will invalidate your warranty, which you could regret should the appliance suffer a component breakdown.
BOILER SERVICING.
The boiler on the left was 5 years old. Never been serviced, and unfortunately needed replacing. This could have been avoidable had it been serviced every year. It did have a 7 year manufacturers warranty when it was installed, but this was null and void as its annual servicing had not been adhered to.
FILTER SERVICE.
We are happy to service system filters during a boiler service visit. As filters age their seals and O rings can deterioate, and cause them to leak after cleaning. Should this occur, repairing this will be chargeable on a parts and labour basis, and is not included in the boiler service
GAS FIRE SERVICE.
Please note, we do not service or repair flueless or Cassette style gas fires. To save wasting appointments, if a Customer requires a sevice for a gas fire we have not worked on before, please email a pictue to davidmcfadyen@dmchs.scot first, because we can advise if is a model we do not work on. This will save wasting time. (example of Cassette style shown below)
